The innovation and the dynamics of international politics

Innovation is a broad concept that involves various dimensions (both in terms of creation, as improvement). However, more generally, innovation is more easily "seen" in electrical and electronic devices or products "unknown" and that seem to meet a demand that until then did not even know we had.

In this sense, the country that excels in the manufacture of products regarded as innovative is China. It is difficult to find a new product that has not been done in China, or at least, finalized its production process in this country. The logical conclusion we can reach is that China is an innovative country. This is true? see for, which conditions make China has such a huge capacity to create?

A deeper dive in Chinese structure creates a paradox in the country's creativity analysis. Internally China does not seem creative, but only a copier products and ideas. A close view of the legal systems, business, politician, Chinese educational and cultural shows that the population is not immersed in what is known in the West as a stimulus space for entrepreneurship and innovation.

Largely what China currently offers is not the innovation itself, but the expression of innovation, that is, the final product. This is mainly due to production costs as, as well as an incredibly cheap labor, work globally, the Chinese government has a huge amount of subsidies, that help to further lower the cost d production.

But the question remains: China is, even producing most of the products identified today as innovations, It does not present the business conditions for its development, as may be responsible for these productions? Or, in more specific terms, where they come from innovations?

A precise answer to this question is extremely difficult to sustain. On the other hand, we can look to indirectly answer. If we ignore the Made in and focusing on brands, We have a different view of the innovative reality. Of course, both, we have to ignore the pirates brands, only copy the products of established brands.

By doing this filtering, soon we realize that most of the brands are North American and European. Brands like Apple, IBM, Motorola, Pfizer… They are behind major innovations, launch products with more features or completely new in every way. They would be the true innovative?

If the answer is affirmative, It means that we believe that the economy no longer can be understood from the way our parents to understand. Creation, marketing and production become independent activities. In the logic of business administration, such a system is already in operation and the various sectors are already integrated. The challenge now is how the legal and political structures will answer this.

Who will defend those who? Who produces what? A possible trade barrier against the iPod should be fought by the country-china manufacturer or by the country-holder-brand US? We put yet here also the country-distributor.

Like this, the issue of innovation goes beyond the idea of creation to increasingly become a political issue.
