ESPM offers Undergraduate course RI
17/05/2016The ESPM is available for graduate students in international relations two tracks of specialization: in Investor Relations and Government Relations.
A Prof. Rodrigo Cintra, Director of International and responsible for the coordination of the course Undergraduate International Relations at ESPM, notes that the course seeks to form "Diplomats Corporate", with focused subjects to humanities, marketing, search, economy, fi nances, management and especially business.
A Prof. Fabiano Rodrigues, leading knowledge management area of ESPM, affirms that the early years of cur- so, the student will be ready to choose an option of "minor" (specialization track) in Investor Relations and Government Relations. In the half ini- cial, students have courses in English - about 40% the course consists of subjects taught in the language. The influence in different languages facilitates the action of pro fi ssional in the relationship with the international capital market, observes Rodrigues. In the area of fi nance, management and operations, there are disciplines such as: model- quantitative gem business, statistic, business accounting, market dynamics fi nancial and fi nance international corporate.
A Prof. Fernando Ribeiro teaches discipline "Corporate Planning & Execution”, no sixth semester, with analysis and risk management models. Fernando Ribeiro highlights the IBRI (Brazilian Institute of Investor Relations) He has collaborated as a reference for students with Quick Guides IR, as well as nominations bibliographic cas. In the discipline are the variables that impact assessed in business models, Corporate governance, activist investors, fi nancial indicators, monitoring strategies and new steps, while pointing to the need for risk mitigation.
No sixth semester, within the track of specialization in Investor Relations, a Prof. Rodrigo Figueiredo Mello teaches classes on "Brazil: Business environment", so that the student can understand the country, considering three pillars: culture and society; politics and economics; and legal / regulatory environment. In more challenges periods fi adores as the current, the pro fi Investor Relations ssionais need to be prepared to respond to the constant questioning of invested- pain on political and economic issues, obstacles and opportunities of doing business in Brazil, says Rodrigo Mello.

The student in the seventh semester puts into practice the teachings of the previous semesters - with courses that prepare you for the "minor" (specialization track) Investor Relations - to understand relevant aspects of evaluation of different investors. Makes presentations of financial results and use arguments and language according to audience.
To assist in evaluating banking, Brunswick Group consulting fi rmed partnership with ESPM. Tereza Beta, director of Brunswick and IBRI member, He says the partnership occurred after noticing the growth in the- orders for pro fi ssionais of International Relations to work in the Investor Relations area of fi nancial institutions and public companies. IBRI must grant exemption from an annuity for the students of the group receiving the highest marks.
In the seventh semester of the course, the focus is on "Investor Relation: a pragmatic approach”, when students perform activities simulating presentations to securities analysts and pro fi investment ssionais.
